FEELCalm is a complementary food for dogs and cats that calms and relaxes pets. It is beneficial for situations involving environmental stress, thunderstorms, fireworks, travel, and undesirable behaviors.

FeelCalm Tranquility and Well-being

FeelCalm is indicated for the following situations:
Stress and Anxiety - Treatment of conditions where the management of environmental stress is an important factor to consider.
Control - Unwanted behaviors (chewing on objects, unwanted territorial marking, excessive vocalization, euphoria/excitement).
Managing fears and phobias - Thunderstorms, fireworks, going to the vet,...
Tranquility and relaxation

But why do common situations cause so much fear and stress?

Small changes, many of which are beyond our control, are enough to trigger all the stress and fear mechanisms. These mechanisms are exaggerated according to certain genetic characteristics, as well as past experiences that may have provoked any kind of threat. Upon first encountering a threatening situation, the animal adopts a hypervigilant attitude, trying to solve the problem immediately (fleeing, barking, etc.).

Since most threats do not disappear with the animal's response, it reacts with greater intensity, in an attempt to make the threats disappear by increasing this intensity.

With repeated threat/stimulus, responses become immediate, automatic, and increasingly intense. The animal may even react inappropriately to any stimulus (even of lower intensity) or to normal situations that remind them of these stressors.

Cannabis Sativa L.
Cannabis sativa L. is an Asian plant of the genus Cannabis. It is highly tolerated by animals, has a good safety profile, and no clinical toxicity recorded in the scientific literature.

Exposure to chronic stress can alter, by decreasing, the CB1 receptors of the endocannabinoid system, and reduce circulating levels of endocannabinoids; this is inversely correlated with anxiety levels.

Valeriana Officinalis
Valeriana officinalis is a plant native to Europe belonging to the Valerianaceae family. Its rhizomes and roots have been used for 2000 years to treat anxiety and sleep disorders, particularly insomnia. It induces a decrease in brain activity characteristic of the waking state, while also influencing increased peripheral muscle relaxation.

Melissa officinalis
Melissa officinalis, also known as lemon balm, belongs to the Lamiaceae botanical family. Clinical studies on the effect of Melissa on the Central Nervous System indicate that it has anxiolytic/tranquilizing and antidepressant properties and helps regulate sleep patterns.

L-Theanine
L-Theanine promotes the release of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), an inhibitory neurotransmitter that induces relaxation and promotes well-being. On the other hand, it regulates brain levels of dopamine (the neurotransmitter of pleasure and reward) and serotonin (the main inhibitory neurotransmitter), which undergo a marked degradation in situations of stress and anxiety.

B Complex Vitamins
B-complex vitamins play a particularly important role in the proper functioning of an animal's body. They help convert food into energy for daily activities, as well as improve nutrient absorption, contributing to a healthier animal overall.
